About Zantrexio

An independent gaming quiz and editorial platform built in Canada — focused on quality, accuracy, and accessibility.

Team working on gaming content

A Small Team. A Focused Mission.

Zantrexio started as a simple idea: gaming culture has a lot of depth that most people never get to explore systematically. Whether it's the history of a genre, the mechanics behind a game system, or the language that players use to discuss what they enjoy — there's a great deal of interesting material that doesn't have a clear home online.

The team behind Zantrexio set out to build a platform that treats that depth with respect. Our quizzes are written by people who care about accuracy, and our articles are reviewed for factual grounding before publication.

We're based in Brantford, Ontario, and we work remotely as a small, focused group. We don't have a large marketing operation or a venture-backed growth target — we just build quiz content we think is worth reading and taking.

Our Values

Accuracy First

Every quiz question is sourced and reviewed. We'd rather have fewer questions and get them right than pad out a quiz with loosely verified trivia.

Accessible Design

Quizzes should work for everyone — from someone who just picked up their first controller to someone who's been gaming for decades.

Editorial Independence

We have no commercial relationships with publishers, studios, or advertisers. Our content reflects our own research and judgment.

Community Feedback

We take player feedback seriously. If a question is wrong or a quiz is confusing, we want to know — and we'll fix it.

Privacy Respect

We collect only what's needed to operate the platform. No selling of user data, no invasive tracking, no aggressive re-targeting.

Curiosity-Driven

The best reason to take a Zantrexio quiz is curiosity — not competition, not pressure, and not a score that means anything outside of the experience itself.

How We Build Quizzes

Each quiz on Zantrexio begins with a content outline. We define what a player should reasonably know after completing it, then build questions that test that knowledge across different cognitive levels — not just recall, but understanding and application.

Questions are calibrated for difficulty and balanced within each quiz. A hard question early on discourages players unnecessarily; a quiz that only gets difficult at the end is more likely to be completed and to feel fair.

Explanations are attached to each question so that players who get something wrong can understand why — not just move on and forget it. That single feature, in our experience, makes the biggest difference in how useful a quiz actually is.
